Counting down to Nepal-part 2

It's about a week more to this big trip and I am starting to get the familiar "chill" down my spine. It's a very strong exhilarating kind of feeling that will make my hair stand whenever I think about it. I am quite sure the others are just as excited. Probably the last time I got this excited was for the long- haul trip to Spain in 2008. I have doing loads of online surfing on the trek. And till now I still couldn't tell how cold it is. Ya, many people I know said that they overpacked and it isn't that cold. Others said it's freezing cold even in Oct/Nov. My boss brought a 120L bag for a 3.5 weeks trips with his ice-axe and mountaineering boots! Zzz... Victor who just did Everest Base Camp said he totally unpacked and was freezing throughout.. how now brown cow... This trip is quite a logistic nightmare as well. There's a lot of itsy bitsy that I needed to take note of. From the big items like clothes to small items like nail clipper and super glue... And the fact that we have to change guesthouse every night means I have to pack/unpack every night.. if u ever get a trekking bag, don't ever buy a top-down one with no zipper at the bottom. Damn!! I am going to be pretty busy over the next few days. Doubt I will update anymore before I go. Wish me luck for the IWCF! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
