SZ was still very impressed with the tv greeting him...
And so, after a visit to the massage palour, we lugged our stuff to our next hotel, SHANGRILA BANGKOK. hahaha... Mark and I were constantly joking that we were going to visiti shangrila hostel. It's pretty pale in comparison to Le Meridien I had to say. But you really cannot compare because shangrila is much older and had the classic hotel interior design.
The view on our floor was really to die for lah! We were on the 22nd storey, one floor below the Horizon Club. And our neighbour is a suite room!!! The room oversees the Chao Praya River. Very good night view. I had to agree with SZ that this sort of view, use money also cannot buy one. haii...
Another significant event of that day was a at the TAILORS. Steve Tailor at Big C shopping centre, just opposite Central World. Wah lau. That singh was really a good salesman. He managed to get SZ to make 3 shirts, 2 pants and 1 jacket. Mark made like 3 pants and a shirt. I didn't want to go along with the other 2 one. But the thought of not buying such cheap Eyptian Cotton would have made this trip a wasted one!!! So I made a top and a bottom. hahahahaaah.....
