Day 2- Perehentian Islands

D'lagoon at our backs!

Freaking deprived urban kids who haven't seen a treehouse all our lives...

It's another early day. WOke up at 5am...tsk....in singapore we also not so hardworking during exams...hehe.... A cab took us to Kuala Besut to catch a ferry to Perehentian Island. Aiyo, seriously expensive. We have to pay RM$60 for the return ferry tickets, RM$5 for park fees?!??? and they claim the water not deep enough for the speed boat to enter, so water taxi another RM$2 per pax. Argh.... It is incredibly crappy to pay so much loh... THe worse is we have to pay an extra $5 per pax 'cos we alighted at the wrong island. Yes, at first we thought our intended place of lodging is at long beach....but nope, D'lagoon Resort is at a more ulu spot. We wanted to get a chalet for this island trip. However, it was fully booked. So no choice, have to sleep in dormitory again. It's filled with angmohs. Didn't take any picture as we, ourselves didn't sleep in the dormitory at the end of the day as it was way too hot. Got our sleep bags and slept at the laundry area instead. hehe.... THe later part of the morning, we trekked to another more ulu beach about 10 minutes away. The place is really a wow....WHITE SAND, THE SUN, CLEAR WATERS!!!! I wished I was born on that island instead. hahaha....Seriously, this is life!!!!! I was having my menses, so didn't try to snorkel with them. Read my book, took pictures for them blah blah...we had a picnic lunch at the beach. We heard that food at the islands isn't cheap, so we bought our own food and water supply along. Noon was spent playing heart attack. Wah seh, they really treated me like public enemy number 1. WTF!!! Just because I have a faster reaction...kns....the worse is that they openly planned and plot how to trap me so that I will get hit and shuffle cards.... Towards evening, the guys snorkelled for a little while more. Then washed up, dinner at the D'lagoon Cafe and we continued with our card game all the way till 10.30...hahaha this time asshole-taidee...tell you more about it next time... the net here is freaking screwed.....*sigh* okie lah...my internet time is almost up! have to go!!!
