Biz Trip to KL

Paiseh totally no photos!

It was a pretty last minute trip. Booked tickets the afternoon before and the hotel, the morning itself.

Accompanied my client (shipowner) up to KL for a meeting with another client (charterer). Not too eventful when the flight got delayed by 1.5HRS! The weather beacon -thingie not working, engineers refused to give clearance for flight and have to wait for the next available aeroplane to switch flights. *slaps forehead*

What was super amazing was, I started surfing facebook on BB and realised that Sarah is up in KL on the very same day!! Immediately called her up and made her stay with me at my poshy 4 star hotel, next to Pavillion Shopping Centre instead. hahaha... I nearly thought I had to spend my evening alone or entertaining clients.. *phew*

Meeting was kept short and sweet. Commercials are not to be discuss in this blog.

Checked- in the hotel and went to Pavillion to meet Sarah and friend for dinner. Yumz! Madam Kwan' s Nasi Bojeri. My joy didn't last too long though. I was hoping my client (charterer) wouldn't try to meet me later in the night! I WAS WRONG!!! I thought Sarah and I could at least go out and enjoy the night life in KL together... but nooooooooo.... I had to continue working from 9+ to 11+... but the time I was in bed, it was past midnight! ARGH!!!!

Sarah actually managed to convince me why I should change my flight the next day, take 1 day leave and huat KL together after work. Liew.... ended up, I had 1 tonne of work piling up in my mailbox, which didn't help when I took the leap of faith for this trip and came up without my laptop.

Spent my 2nd day in KL just travelling around meeting a few companies. It was quite good lah... thought I was really quite good at fishing for information, talk rubbish under the sun etc etc...

It was quite a mad rush the entire day, all the way till the airport before I could really sit down and enjoy a proper meal... craziness...

Lesson learnt: Never just bring 1 pair of Business heels even for a short trip!
