WOOT!!!

24 straight hours of travelling and I finally arrived at Barcelona, Spain. The air ride was incredibly long. SG- Dubai was alright. The Dubai airport was really too small to handle the amount of people in the airport. It was only 5am and the 3 of us almost couldn´t find any seats at all. Everyone was occupying the seats, the floor area. *faintz* Dubai- France was an incredibly long. It is incredibly long journey. Touched down at CDG airport and the luggage took a really long time to clear. It was just shit... we almost missed our connecting flight to Barcelona if not for a 2hr delay. Can you imagine all the haste and sudden-need-to-wait between us.... aiyoh...

Reached Barcelona really late. Took us 2 hrs to navigate all the way to our Hostel. Paraiso Travellers´ Hostal. It´s quite decent. Clean, hot water shower and a really helpful staff. 0)

Day 1
We went around the vicinity of El Raval, La Rambla, Barcelona Port, El Born, Gothic Quaters, Plaza Catalunya. hahaha... It was a very very very long walk. El Raval was indeed very shady. We were recommended to take small lanes through El Raval to get to La Rambla. It was a tat too scary for 3 girls. I didn´t feel it was safe at all.

Breakfast was at ¨Capuccino¨, La Rambla. Fantastic Foccusia (think it is spelt like that lah).....some sandwich pita with ham and cheese. It was really expensive leh... 16 euros for breakfast aka 32 sing dollars....should be less gullible next time. hahahaha.... We went on to the market after that. There were such a delightable supply of colours. Seafood, fruits, olives, veggies all nicely placed, cleaned for the consumers to buy. hahhaa... if I ever have a market in SG, it will be something like this... hahaha...we nearly want kick ourselves for eating breakfast so early loh... sianz.....the market had a wider selection at a CHEAPER price can....

Walk downed La Rambla which was filled with plenty of performance artist and still art artist. Saw the Barcelona Port. It was really a dream come true. I could really pinched myself for it. I have been wanting to visit Spain since 6 years ago. This port which I have seen in so many pictures was a dream siah.. *pinch myself*

Anyway, we wanted to visit this other market but was discovered to be in renovation.Try to navigate our way to Musee Picaso. Got lost for at least 1 hour.... I totally disoriented in midst of the Gothic Building. Along the way saw Cathedral Barcelona and Santa Maria Church. Very neat...

Musee Picaso was freaking cool. I have only seen Picasso´s works on computer before only. This time, I saw all the real stuff. His work was unbelievably real. Not when he was younger lah...But as he got older, the figures he painted was really good. The details he went into was... *speechless* Saw a mixture of modern art, landscape pictures as well. What impressed me the most was his works on Catalayun ladies. Most of the pictures were believed to be painted when he was at the bull rings. Really really nice....

Alrighty. We were really tired after Picasso. So we WENT shopping!!!!!! hahahaha.... WHO SAID MANGO and ZARA was everywhere!! basket.....but we found them nonethless.. =p

I bought a really pair of boots from Zara.. =p
