DD5, Here I come!!!

It's been awhile huh...last post was 22 July. 1.5 months ago.

I remembered I went home really tired. I expected to stay in the office for a long while. Things took a strange turn thereafter. Our company had a opening ceremony in August. It changed my life for the next 7 months. "A project dropped from the sky." (quoting my boss). James and I got outsourced to this oil company as drilling engineers. We are on opposite rotation. Every alternate 2 weeks, one of us will travel to offshore-bangladesh. The other one will stay in the oil company and work from office.

Life's been hectic, difficult and I AM GROWING OLD FAST. kns..I can literally see the fine lines under my eyes now!!! *sigh* the hours are really long even in office. I typically start work at 730am and end at about 6pm. There's a high possiblity of coming back to office on weekends too. Oh well... =P Frankly, I don't think the pace here is fast cos I am working with a bunch of old men. It's just long hours.... haii...

You can feel that gloom in me right?

Actually, these few days I am quite angry with my work environment. It's really quite noisy. People talk very loudly here (Yes, these rig people are LOUD.), the cubicles are not closed off. So I find it really disruptive when I work. zzz... luckily, it's only for 7 months. The orchard office is good. Quiet and I have a window cubicle. hahaa...

Anyway, I am leaving for Bangladesh in a week! 17 October. Will update again!!
