Well Control- for Drillers

I was so thrilled to be on the rig yesterday!

Barely an hour on the rig, Guy paged for me... I called back and he told me," Sophia, I am going to send you on a course which I thought will be very good for you."

8 hours later, I am back to this crappy hotel and I got signed up for a 6 days course + 1 day exam. "Well control (Drillers)". It's not IWCF certified but IADC.

So here am I at the end of Day1 of the course. We have 3 assistant Drillers, 1 trainee driller, 1 derrickman and 2 trainee drilling engineers on this course. *Faint*

Before we left, Guy told JS before he boarded the helicopter.

"Don't fail!!"

the whole world thinks that JS and I are sure to pass the course because we are graduates and the mathematics involved are easy. WTF. Let me tell you, IT'S NOT EASY.
