I will be back, DD2!
Sikovsky chopper that I took....
James left on the chopper before me, thus leaving me a lot of time to catch up with Leon. Yes! for like 1 precious hour.... Leon: have a good trip with alyssa!!!
The moment the chopper took off, one thing came into my mind. I was really proud of myself for taking that first courageous step into this career. The 28 days cycle was much easier than I had thought it would be. I have to admit I am tired from this trip now but one thing I am sure about is that I am looking forward to get back onto DD2 to work.
But for the next 28 days in sg (partly Thailand), I am going to forget about things on the DD2 and concentrate on getting my life back together! Ya, a few people have told me before that they have problems adjusting back to civilian life.
Like just now when I was walking down the stairs, it was almost 2nd nature for me to hold the handrails. But I realised that wee-bit of unnatural walk for me as I like to prance (is that the correct word??) down the stairs. Immediately, I let go of my hands, put them into the pockets and pranced down instead. hahaha...
I need to remember how to make my own bed, sms properly, wear nice clothes, eat slowly, quit using vulguarities ( I picked up a bit when I was onboard) and basically, be female again... hahaha....
that's about it for this leg of travel. Will update again when I get to Krabi, Thailand next thursday!
Till then, stay tune!
